What is the age range?
+
The tour is designed for junior golfers ages 9 to 18, split into three divisions with boys and girls categories. Yardages are similar to Colorado PGA yardages: 14-18 all play the same yardage, 11-year-olds in the 11-13 division play shorter tees, and 10 & Under yardages are set by age.
What is the Junior Tour?
+
The tour runs 20 consecutive weeks from November 7/8 through March 20/21. Each junior plays 8 of those 20 weeks, so families pick the dates that fit their winter. The same course is played back-to-back weeks, which makes 10 bi-weekly tournaments with their own winners, plus a season-long points race. Events can be played any day of the week. Rounds are 18 holes, usually in threesomes — about two hours indoors with autoputt — though grouping is up to each facility.
Does my player have to be a COPGA junior member?
+
No. Any junior can play. The tour is designed as the winter home for competitive juniors and adds value to a COPGA junior membership, but membership isn't required to enter.
How do I register?
+
Registration is location-specific and completed online through each facility's own website. Visit the events section of the facility you want, select your player, and follow the registration prompts. Where you sign up is where you play — your player competes in every tournament hosted at that facility.
What does it cost?
+
$425 for a season pass covering 8 of the 10 events, paid up front. If space allows you can buy into extra tournaments at $50 each — a season pass is required first.
Are there any prizes?
+
Yes. Prizes go to the season-long champion and points leader in every division, and the tour is working on tee gifts for all participants. The season closes with the Tour Championship at Colorado Golf Academy – Littleton on Sunday, March 28th, with the top 10–15% of each division qualifying.
Why are there TrackMan and GSPro standings?
+
Host facilities run one of two launch-monitor platforms. The tour has picked ten courses that both TrackMan and GSPro offer, so everyone plays the same rotation, but the two are scored as separate divisions through the regular season and come together at the championship. Use the platform filter on any leaderboard to switch between them.
How do the standings work?
+
Finishing position at each tournament earns season points inside your own age division. The leaderboards on this site are updated from the official tour scoring sheet after every event, so standings post as soon as scores are final.
